Although our service is not a loan, we can help our clients in this endeavor and more importantly, there are a number of other options available. An experienced certified credit counselor will contact your creditors to get your interest rate and monthly payments reduced to an amount you can afford to pay.
What is a debt consolidation loan?
A debt consolidation loan is a mortgage on your house or other real property used to pay off your debts by rolling them into the mortgage.
Can I use the loan for more than debt consolidation?
Yes. Consolidating your existing debts allows you to free up some money for other purposes. You can borrow extra for a new vehicle or to pay for a holiday. The choice is yours.
Will I receive monthly explanations from my creditors?
Yes, you will continue receiving monthly explanations from your creditors. These statements are for your recordings and your reduced interest rates and payments will reflect which are made by our service.
What are the advantages of a debt consolidation loan?
By utilizing a loan to secure your debts you pay off high interest rate debts with a low interest rate loan. Moreover, your credit begins improving almost immediately because you will no longer be late on any of your credit lines.
Can you stop creditor harassment?
Certainly. Once you are enrolled in our debt consolidation program, you may receive calls for a short time. The difference is that when these calls come, you can direct the creditor or collector to contact us. This will end creditor harassment while you participate in the debt consolidation program.
Can I send extra money some months?
If you can, it's in your best interest to send extra money with your payment. Even a small extra amount will save you money in interest charges in the long term. You can also tell us where you would like the additional funds applied. If no specific instructions are given, we will apply the funds where they will do the most good for you.
Can I withdraw from the debt consolidation program if I want to?
Yes. Participation in our debt consolidation program is voluntary and you are under no obligation to stay enrolled. But if you withdraw from your plan, the benefits that were arranged with your creditors will end upon withdrawal.
